Day Nice Hotel is right in front of Daecheon Beach in Boryeong-si, Chungcheongnam-do, so it’s the perfect location for watching - or even taking part in - the annual Mud Festival. Every room is luxuriously furnished and has a sea view; the view from the spacious top-floor penthouse, in particular, is amazing. The beach is only 20 steps from the hotel entrance, and when bathers get back there’s a water jet and air gun at the entrace for cleaning up. A semi-buffet breakfast is offered at the 1st floor restaurant.
